This gorgeous kitchen is nothing like it once was.
ProjectThis was an enclosed oak kitchen with a completely different layout. It included a peninsula, bulkheads and a window sink to name a few. The clients had initially wanted to open up a part of the kitchen and were stumped with the low lying window and never thought we'd come up with the concept that we did.

InspirationWhen planning this kitchen, we started from scratch and acted as if nothing was in the space at all. The low lying window that initially had our clients stumped became a window of opportunity and an inspiration. We thought that it was perfect height for a bench, and a breakfast nook, and the rest of the concept went from there.

The ClientThe clients have been in the home for over a decade, raised their children and saw them marry in this home. They loved the home but weren't as in love with their kitchen as they once were. They wanted it to feel open, spacious and functional most of all. They entertain a lot and wanted the kitchen to be an inviting area where family and friends could gather.
